- Servers, LAN and WAN Management
• Windows Environment management & handling interactivity
• Maintaining Windows 2003/2008 Environment
• Managing 2003/2008 Active Directory Services.
• Server data security, firewall management
• Remote, Distributed Users Management
• Configuring Group Policy, Organizational Units in 2003/2008 Active Directory
• Managing Remote Access Servers (RAS)
• Setup & Manage Co-located server(s) in the Branch Offices
• Configuring & Maintaining iDNS, eDNS and DHCP servers
• Software licensing on Servers
• Managing Exchange Server2003/2007, MS SQL Server, MS-SharePoint, CVS, and more
• Server Hardware maintenance
• Managing POP, SMTP, IMAP, etc services
• Managing Server-Client Communication – TCP/IP
• Managing Anti-Virus and MS update servers (ePO, WSUS)
• Capacity planning for ADS, Exchange and Storage on Enterprise Level.
• Configuring and Rebuilding of Various RAID Levels
• Remote Administration through Terminal Services.
• Installing and Administering Network Print Server.
- Backup and Storage Management
• Normal/Full and Incremental/Deferential Scheduled backups for Data, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, PBX Servers, etc
• Managing IPSAN/NAS and Windows Storage
• Managing and Configuring Symantec Veritas Backup Server
• Configuring and Managing Tape drives and Autoloaders
• Microsoft Exchange System Recovery (DR)
• Managing Departmental and Individual Network Shares
• Managing onsite and Offsite Backups.
- Ensure across Enterprise
• Maximum Uptime of Systems & Services
• Monitor Server Performance and Service Availability
• Appropriate Maintenance, Backups and Redundancies
• Company Network & Systems Policy Enforcement
• Extended self-availability over cell-phone or physically at office
• Handle critical changes on Servers and be the SPOC for entire life cycle of Change Management.
• Practice ISMS policy and procedure as defined in the QMS.
• Suggest improvement in QMS & ISMS
