Project Details (For Technical Stream): JAVA
Job Description:
Having minimum of 4+ years of experience (overall) in JAVA/J2EE platform including various design patterns like factories, MVC, Singleton, and Ajax.
a) Experience in Java 1.4 and above, Core Java such as OOP Concept, Thread.
b) Work with Enterprise Architect to provide system architecture design documentation.
c) Drive the detailed technical design.
d) Assist project and development managers to define the scope and develop plan for the project deliverables.
e) Lead the development team to execute the development plan.
f) Conduct code review, unit testing and integration testing.
g) Document system design, development and Unit testing, and transfer maintenance work to the internal staff.
h) Problem solving (code written by self) and for the project team
i) Support Team Building activities (Interviewing, mentoring, participating in project level appraisal process etc)
j) Should have objected-oriented analysis and design expertise, and the ability to decompose a high-level project statement into detailed functional, architectural and project assignments for team members.
k) Experience in Design Patterns such as with Spring and Hibernate.
l) Experience in Server side programming such as Web Sphere and Web logic.
m) Should have expertise in XML, web services and should have worked on Open Technologies like Tomcat, Apache etc.
n) Participate in Requirement capturing and making use cases using UML.
o) Should have people management experience of leading large teams at offshore and onsite.
p) Creating and maintaining documentation to support compliance / IT Security and audit requirements.
q) Maintaining project schedule and communicating project status tracking project budget to ensure that the project does not exceed allocated project budget Ensure deliverables, offshore coordination for large J2EE project.
r) Must have an understanding of Java Framework/Java, web development, XML transaction processing.
Skills/Qualifications:
a) Strong understanding of web protocols such as HTTP, and SOAP.
b) Strong understanding of OOAD Design.
c) Expert knowledge of J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, EJB)
d) Extensive application server experience (JBoss / Web Sphere/ Tomcat)
e) Extensive MVC design and web frameworks experience (Struts, Spring)
f) Strong experience in middle-tier clustering technologies
g) Knowledge of HTML and browser scripting is a plus
h) Understanding of AJAX and JSF.
i) Demonstrable leadership skills.
j) Experience in SOA.
k) Experience in Net Beans/Eclipse/WSAD.
l) Experience in ANT/Hibernate.
m) Good oral and written communication skills.
n) Knowledge of ISO / CMM processes is a plus.
o) Knowledge on Drools, GWT and Dozzer Mapping is a plus.
