Exp: 3 to 6 Years of SAP BW Experience
1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Developer is responsible requirement gathering, documenting requirements functional design and development activities in SAP BW.
Resolving helpdesk tickets
2. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- On call support (24 x 7)
- Resolving Help desk tickets
- Requirement Gathering, documenting requirements and functional design
- Project technical specifications
- Project development
- Project testing - Assure quality of the end-product from requirements definition through production rollout/training/change management.
3. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have:- 2+ years of in SAP BW
- Work Experience in BW3.5.
- Extensive experience in BW Architecture, Data Flow strategy, Source System, Data Source, PSA, Data Targets like ODS and Info cubes, Multi Providers and Data Modeling
- Data Modeling – Should have worked on Standard and Custom Info Cubes, Info Objects, Info Sources, Transfer Structures, Operational Data Sources (ODS), Info Providers and Multi Providers
- Data Extraction - Work experience in Flat File extraction, Generic Data Extractions, LIS Logical Cockpit Extractions. Customized SD extractor for few of the Sales related reporting
- Extracted data from external system like SQL Server which involved creation of SQL views to extract data
- Reporting - Worked on Business Explorer (BEx) and BEx Query Design, Variables, Filters and Conditions. Also worked in Web Templates and SEM Scorecards
- Support - Work experience on Process Chains, Data Load Monitoring and fixing the load failures
- Experience in Performance tuning, data modeling, ABAP routines, data loads, data extracts, process chains, security coordination, EDW, ETL, workbooks, etc.
- Preferable
- Good to have ABAP knowledge
- The resource should have a decent working knowledge of functional SD and BI with perhaps a bit of MM and FI thrown in.
