JOB DESIGNATION/ROLE/POSITION :QA Engineer

JOB LOCATION :Hyderabad

JOB DESCRIPTION/JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirements

* Strong Linux skills
* Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization.
â–  Experience in networking (TCP/IP, Firewall etc.)
â–  Knowledgeable in software development life cycle
* Understanding of TCP/IP, networking topology, routers and switches
* Familiarity with at least one scripting language Perl, Python, or similar language
* Knowledge of Virtual Machine technology
* Good experience in testing Java based server products
* Expert in GUI and Web Front End Functional testing using both manual techniques and automation tools
* Experienced in QA processes and best practices, good understanding of different QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution
* Good understanding of technologies like Spring, Hibernate, Struts
* Working knowledge of Shell scripting, HTML, SQL, Apache, XML, JavaScript
* Excellent communication skills
* Working knowledge of HTTP load generation /measurement software (e.g. LoadRunner, JMeter)
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

* Design test strategies, write test plans, and execute test cases
* Identify bug trends and drive resolution
* End to End Web based testing
* Create and execute regression and acceptance test suites
* Perform load and performance testing
* Prepare test reports
* Manage bug tracking system
