JOB Requirement:
Experience : UML Experience required
Has a minimum of 3 years experience as a Java developer
Will have a Java development background and may be familiar with a broad range of technologies, workflow systems, rule engines, and design patterns
Will have experience with Test Driven Development methodologies and unit testing frameworks
Exposure to GWT advantageous
Experience with Web architecture development tools and languages, e.g. JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, Javabeans/EJBs, SOAP, XML/XSLT/FOP, HTML
Relational database experience (MS SQL, Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11i)
Role
In Cura the role of the Java Developer encompasses the following:
Implementation of solutions as per technical design documents
Resolution of issues where it affects the technical implementation
Ensuring that the CORRECT product is delivered to business the first time, on time, every time
Main Duties
Writing of software as part of a team of other developers
Works closely with Senior Developers and Architects to execute on ongoing feature development and product maintenance
Enhances existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for optimization or refactoring
Some 3rd line testing will be required
