Location - Chennai
The Tester will be responsible to:
- Develop a good understanding of the existing application (functional & to some extent technical)
- Analyse new requirements/changes (functional and technical) from a testing perspective
- Carry out Integrated System Testing - Manual Testing
- Automation and execution of tests
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop functional expertise of the application
• Work with business analysts/users/developers to understand requirements.
• Help to create test plan, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Carry out tests and identify defects to qualify a release for UAT/production
• Carry out defects validation on each release
• Identify and create automation scripts
• Execute entire test suite on each release (manual/automated)
• Create test data when necessary
• Help in training users and in UAT, whenever required
