Candidates applying for this job should have and be prepared to demonstrate the following skills:
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong background in computer science fundamentals.
• Solid experience developing Java/J2EE applications using JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, Hibernate, EJB, and JDBC.
• Experience and knowledge of database design and development using SQL and Oracle 9i/10g.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and design solutions based on those requirements.
• Experience developing code deployed for use in a web application with many concurrent users and a very high transaction rate.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience working with JSF is desired.
• Experience developing with JBOSS and SEAM in an EJB3 environment is desired.
• Exposure to Human Resources domain is a plus.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Product development including design, implementation, and unit testing.
• Author design notes.
• A delivery focused attitude with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines.
