Opportunities for Oracle Database Administrators !!!   Skills Experience Description Job Location Oracle Database administrator 5-7 years ·        At least five (5) years hands-on database development and administration experience using Oracle, Oracle DBA certification desirable,  SAP IMPLEMENTATION exp is must ·         Components including High Availability, Backup & Recovery, and DRP Solutions. ·         Planning and engineering of  9x and 10x on Linux/Sun Solaris OS, Creation and Managing Databases, Tables, Views, Indexes and other Database Objects, ·         Performance & Tuning of the Server ·         Planning & execution for Backup/Restore procedures,  and Disaster/Recovery procedures ·         Planning & execution for Security procedure, Shell scripting (csh/ksh/sh)  ·         Automated Job creation and scheduling, Setup and execution of standard database utilities ·         Evaluation and testing of new versions of Data server and Replication Server, Support ·         infrastructure software enhancements and corrections, Installation, Configuration & troubleshooting of Oracle databases ·         Good knowledge of Architectural Planning and capacity planning, Strong experience in Oracle ·         Database Administration and good Knowledge of Database Administration tools ·         Expertise in Installation, Up gradation & Administration of Oracle Database server on Linux/Sun Solaris OS ·         Expertise in Installation, Configuration & troubleshooting of Oracle databases ·         Database and Database objects creation/maintenance ·         Expertise in performance and tuning for Oracle Database ,Planning and execution for Backup/Restore procedures, Planning and execution for Disaster/Recovery ·         Planning and execution for Security procedures ·         Expertise in writing, debugging and troubleshooting queries/procedures ·         Proficiency in Unix commands and vi/ed editor   Bangalore   Please forward the relevant profiles to email ID: Ira_Dogra@mahindrasatyam.com
