Role : Pl/Sql Developers (3 - 6 years)
Job Requirement Essential:
• At least skills 3 years plus in Oracle (9i/10g/11g) Database technologies, in particular SQL, PL/SQL, Procedures, Functions, Packages, Views.
• Basic DBA skills for monitoring and resolving locks, schema permissions, viewing query plans and using tkprof for SQL performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Oracle’s database architecture, processes, and subsystems.
• Minimum knowledge of Java and other programming languages, specifically in how they work with Oracle via JDBC, OCI, etc.
• If any errors occur from say a Java side error, he/she should be able to help in resolving - though like understand the error and then speak with DBA team onsite to resolve it.
• Working knowledge of at least one version control system; Subversion is preferred.
• Experience in estimating various programming tasks (small, medium, large).
• Basic understanding of Search Engine Architecture (Endeca) and Data warehousing techniques
• Basic understanding of using Oracle’s TAR systems in resolving technical issues.
