Technology Description :
• Intermediate to advanced HP QTP skills (versions 8.2, 9.5, and 10)
• Intermediate to advanced VB Scripting skills and experience
• 3+ Years hands-on QTP scripting experience creating and enhancing scripts
• 3+ Years hands-on VB scripting experience creating and enhancing scripts
• In-depth knowledge of Automation framework and object repository
• Ability to create and modify QTP objects and scripts
Role / Responsibility :
• Production Primary Responsibilities:
• Run and monitor the QTP scripts used to process file data via QTP scripts for the Third Party Administrator application
• Resolve all production issues
• Communicate status to business users and other IT members
• Following the Systems Development Life Cycle, document, code and test enhancements and fixes to the QTP scripts as requested and prioritized by IT and business owners.
• Obtain business user sign-off on all QTP fixes and enhancements before implementing them to production.
• Non-production Secondary Responsibilities:
• Create automated test cases as requested by the technical lead to validate functionality
• Execute automated test cases as needed
• Document and communicate all automated test execution results
• Document and communicate all defects
• Work closely with business analysts and developers to resolve issues identified
• Mentor junior staff members
• Provide expertise on test process and execution best practices
• Testing will include functional, smoke, negative, load, end to end, regression, performance, and system integration
• QTP testing will include verifying software releases after production deployments
Essential Technical Skills :
• Ability to work 9 AM to 5 PM US Hours (Eastern Standard Time)
• Ability to work overtime to meet production and project schedules
• Must work from the Pune, India office - there will be no working remotely for the position
• Willingness and skills to support a monthly production process (Third Party Administrator process – "TPA") operationally
• Intermediate to advanced HP QTP skills (versions 8.2, 9.5, and 10)
• In-depth knowledge of Automation framework and object repository

• Intermediate to advanced VB Scripting skills and experience
