Job Description :
• Candidate with 6+ Years of experience in the field of Application Repackaging and MSI Technology. Extensively working knowledge on tools like Wise package studio, Installshield, Orca, VM Ware tool/Alteris recovery. Very Good understanding and exposure on Packaging process like Analyzing the client build, Technical review, Scripting, Testing, Validation, Conflict management, User Acceptance testing, Customization using scripting, Microsoft standards of packaging.
• The Candidate should have leadership capabilities and must worked as team lead for 2+ years. Sound knowledge in Design and implementing the client infrastructure, Tools used and day to day administration support. Must take owner ship of all the applications till it deployed successfully.
Tools and Technologies :
• Packaging Skills: Wise package studio 7, Installshield 12, marimba, Softgrid virtualization.
• Tools: Orca, Picture Taker, VM Ware/Alteris recovery agent, Filemon, Regmon.
• Operation Systems: Windows 2K/NT/XP/Vista.
• Virtualization and Streaming tool: Microsoft Application Virtualization Tool (SoftGrid), Citrix Server, Citrix Program Neighborhood, Experience of Installing, Publishing, Troubleshooting and un-installation of applications on Citrix Server.
• Directory Services: Active Directory.
• Scripting Tool: In Depth working Experience on WMI scripting and MS-DOS Scripting.
Role Description :
• Taking decisions on technical/managerial aspects of the project.
• Design, creation and maintenance of client build.
• Responsible for creating and delivering error free quality packages.
• Managing people and project management related tasks like billing, providing projections for the month, Team Appraisals, Training the team if required, invoice reviewing.
• Should mentor team in day to day operations and handle escalations.
• Co-ordinating Software Distribution and patch deployment team.
• Following periodic maintenance tasks to be performed.
• People management skills such as delivering complete service delivery for Software Packaging, Distribution and Patch Management.
• Providing business improvement solutions to clients and execution skills.
Certifications :
• MCTS/ MCP/MCSE, ITIL etc..
• Certifications on Wise package studio 7/Installshield 12, SMS/SCCM.
• Any Management certifications will an added advantage.
Communication & Documentation :
• Excellent communication (Written & Verbal), customer handling skills & Documentation skills.
