Experienced Walk-In : Electrical Wire Harness @ Bangalore

Mission :
• The HDR designs the vehicle harness routing and achieves QCD targets.
Key Responsibilities :
• Designs & validates the 3D model of harness routing of the vehicle
• Achieves 3D design QCD targets in compliance with the project objectives.
• Realizes the 3D model design project presentation of harness routing.
Key Tasks :
• Verify the work sheet inputs and receives necessary data /Clarification for Harness routing.
• Prepare the Excel WR (Work Request) sheet with HUS (Harness Unit Size) and Inputs Quality based on the Data available given by the customer.
• Study the vehicle architecture for harness routing design and prepare/ realize Technical & Functional inputs
• Define / negotiate the harness paths and fixations with architecture as per Harness Rules
• Define & calculate the Harness bundle Diameter & fixation distance
• Define the functional protection (mechanical and heat) and other harness components (connectors, Terminals, Relay, supports etc.,) needed and select / locate the harness components in the harness routing
• Define technical solutions (especially in the case of innovation/ cost reduction techniques) with the help of Harness Pilot/ Local Technical leaders.
• Prepare Bill of Materials ,IMP files and Project documentation
• Analyze the Bill of Material and IMP file for Different Suppliers.
• Prepare the documentation associated with the study room (GDG) under documentation standards pre-established.
• Verify Harness rules application in 3D model of harness routing.
• Prepare the List of Changes (DFC) of the existing 3D given by customer / 3D design created newly.
• Realize Excel Flattening or 3D Flattening Drawings.
• Check the Required Generic Models (kind of "macro" running in Catia) for the 3D Design.
Key Skills
Essential skills :
• Minimum 2 years Working Experience in Harness routing using Catia V5 for Passenger cars & commercial Vehicles (Panel Van, Truck, Bus etc.,) in OEMS /TIER I Suppliers
• Knowledge / working experience in any of Product Data management (GDG) tools
• Knowledge of complete vehicle & vehicle architecture
• Knowledge on harness components like Connectors , wires, relays, fuse, protections, supports etc Experience in wiring harness & Vehicle development program and DFMEA
Desirable skills :
• Experience in Harness Manufacturing process and Product Development
• Knowledge of basic electricity
• Knowledge of Vehicle development program
