Pursuing strategic initiatives over the next 2 years.
Review and analyze various applications.
Responsible for recommendation, design and construction of re-factored services platform.
The strategic platform is be SOA based
This system will gather data from various sources such as legacy applications via legacy connectors and serve them via SOA services
Primary locations: Bangalore, India, Detroit, Michigan Somerset, NJ
Travel Requirements: 3-4 weeks at various client locations across the United States.
Responsibilities:
· Performance testing (load/stress) experience with Load runner, QA load (or similar tools)
Will build and design load tests for identifying stress points of application based on usage scenarios
Will gather and analyze performance metrics/test statistics
May perform capacity planning
Qualification:
· BA/BS in computer science required or equivalent experience
5-6 years overall experience in test design and test case implementation.
3+ years experience designing, creating and maintaining automation scripts.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, WinRunner and JMeter is mandatory.
Scripting (Java Scripting or VB Scripting), setting up test automation frameworks/test harnesses is highly desirable
Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies in whitebox and blackbox environments.
Demonstrable experience with key testing concepts such unit testing, system, regression, and user acceptance testing
Experience in testing and automation in web-centric technologies (Java, SOA, )
Ability to plan and manage own work, balancing multiple projects requiring coordination across a number of teams
