Job description:
Basic Purpose:
The position is responsible for designing, coding, testing, coordinating, documenting and kitting software for XIUS-bcgi’s product line.
Technical Skills Required:
o Proficient in Java / J2EE Programming and Web services
O Proficient in some or all of the J2EE Technologies (Jsp, Ejb, Struts, Spring, Hibernate), XML, Web Services
O Have worked with JBOSS Application Server
O Efficient in Design patterns and framework definition
O Experience utilizing some or all of the following Operating Systems : Windows NT/XP/2003, Linux flavors
O Efficient in SQL query integration and Implementation.
O Experience with Oracle Database
O Individual work planning, executions as per plan, escalations if plans have deviation.
O Ability to reach out to reporting manager when needed help in completing the assigned tasks.
O Basic Team Management skills
O Proficiency in debugging skills.
O Knowledge on any SCM Tool like VSS, Perforce etc
O Preferable: Efficiency in Telecom Domain
Education and Work Experience:
 B.E / B.Tech. / M.C.A/ M.Sc. (CS) or equivalent
 4 - 7 years of commercial software development experience
 2 - 3 years of development experience on J2EE platform
