Requirement Details:
Skill: J2EE, Web Services, EJB experience in implementing
Hibernate,Spring,Junit
Experience in Agile / Scrum / Extreme Programming methodologies would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize understanding of design principles in creating custom software solutions or modifying packages solutions
2. Independently work in application development / support / enhancements / bug-fixing
3. Analyze and document different approaches to solving technical problems
4. Demonstrate Good understanding of the Functional aspects of the application
5. Prepare high quality test plans and conduct the tests at Unit and Functional level
6. Conduct Integration tests as required
7. Conduct Regressions tests as required
8. Reporting progress to the Project Manager.
9. Escalation of problems to local Management
10. Ensuring that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development life-cycle and day to day development work.
11. Maintain administration tasks; i.e. Jira to record progress against tasks, confluence for documentation and Yetti for booking in time etc.
12. Meeting deadlines deliverables. Keeping Project Manager informed of issues that affect the project and the deliverables of the project
Other skills:
1. Good communication verbal and written
2. Work Quality and commitment
3. Knowledge of the capital markets industry would be an advantage.
