Essential Criteria

• Strong academic record including BSc Degree (at least 2.1) or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Formal training or experience of computer programming/ scripting including:
• Object-oriented programming Java
• Familiar with Solaris and/or Linux operating environments
• Knowledge of the Software Lifecycle
• Effective communication – both written and verbal
• Good problem solving skills
• Strong team working skills
• Desire to learn and improve skills
• Must be willing to travel
• Good understanding of Struts, Servlets
• Java programming in Unix, especially Unix system, Multi-threaded programming

Desirable Criteria
o Knowledge of:
– Java
– xml
– Struts, Servelts, Springs
o Knowledge of Weblogic.
o Able to accept feedback and act on it
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team
o Ability to manage time and prioritise
o Ability to follow process and maintain accurate records.
