• The Tech Lead will be primarily responsible one or more SW subsystems in the major enterprise switching/routing platform that Tech Mahindra owns for their Major Tier-1 clients.
• The Tech Lead will take-up SW Architecture, Design and Systems Engineering aspects along with leading the team to get the project delivered in time.
Work Experience :
Domain Related :
• 6+ years of significant experience in Embedded Software Development in a Unix/Linux environment on Design and Implementation of L2/L3 Control plane protocols and Fast-Path data forwarding for major enterprise switching/routing products.
• Experience in the following control protocol/Fast path
- MPLS/T-MPLS/MPLS-TP, Q-Bridge, Q-in-Q, IP-Routing
- CFM, EFMOAM, LACP, xSTP, 802.1x, ACL, Y1731
- OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, LDP
• Development-Experience with multiple versions of IOS and/or JUNOS is highly desirable.
• Experience with writing applications on embedded systems - needs to be aware of resource and CPU constraints.
• Experience with database, threaded applications, or file-systems.
General :
• Proficient in multi-process and multi-threaded system design.
• Extensive knowledge of IP/L2 Networking.
• Proficient in C/C++, GNU tools, and shell scripting.
• Proficient in system level and network level debugging.
• Able to work in fast pace high performance development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills :
