Designation C# Software Engineer/ Software Designer/ Tech Lead

Role/Team Summary: (Outline of team and role responsibilities)

Member of team developing and supporting ECD (Electronic Communication Database), a central repository for all employee data and its supporting applications like Mission Mode, Dash board etc.

The team will be split equally between IDC and UK and will be responsible for development and support activities on the project. Specific responsibilities include:

• Develop, test and deploy ECD changes to meet the requirements captured in the functional specs.

• Produce a suite of system and unit tests as an integral part of system development.

• Application support â€" including Batch support, bug fixing, enhancements

• Work closely with technical team leads and business analysts during development to involve them in appropriate design decisions that arise during development.

Deliverables: (Criteria/results by which success can be measured)

• Completed code development measured against the development plan

• Technical Design documentation

• Testing results and documentation


Requirements

Essential Experience: (Must have skills)

• 3-8 years overall IT experience

• 3-8 years C#/.Net 2.0 data intensive Internet/Intranet development experience

• Strong SQL Server 2005 database skills (DTS, SQL skills)

• Strong reporting skills

• Experience in Scrum methodology

• Hands-on Nunit experience in recent project


Supplementary Experience

Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)

• Software development experience in applications related to CRM or Payroll

• Experience in using Test Director

• Experience in using Remedy â€" call logging software

• Knowledge of XML/XSLT
